We are getting together multiple times a week to train for the LAM: https://www.hprunclub.com/marathon

HPRC will be starting a book club in February! Shout out to Anani (@anani.galindo) and Michelle (@bisontefernandez) for making it happen!

We will be reading What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami.

1) Food and drinks will be catered, but of course you are more than welcome to bring a dish/drink to share. Vegan options available.

2) White Elephant Gift Exchange: To participate in the gift exchange/swap, please bring a wrapped gift ($30 or less).

3) Powerpoint night! We will have a projector and speakers at our disposal for you to share a 5-7 min presentation of ANYTHING. It can be run/exercise related, a passion project, something silly,... anything! Please e-mail presentation to huntingtonparkrunclub@gmail.com.

4) AWARDS NIGHT! As we have gotten to know each other over the past 7 months, I have an idea of those who are most likely to.... best in their category ... etc. I will be presenting the HP RUN CLUB SUPERLATIVES as my powerpoint presentation. Everyone that attends will receive an official certificate.

5) LA Marathon FREE ENTRY RAFFLE!! If you have been to at least ONE of the LAM training long runs (either Sunday or Monday), you have a chance to win a LAM comp entry! If you are selected but have already registered, you will be reimbursed the FULL AMOUNT! The more training long runs you've been to, the higher your chances are to WIN (I have been keeping a list ;)). Winner MUST be present at time of raffle (end of night) to claim prize.

We will also have board games, karaoke, y mas. You won't want to miss it! :D

4) ¡NOCHE DE PREMIOS! A medida que nos hemos ido conociendo durante los últimos 7 meses, tengo una idea de aquellos que tienen más probabilidades de... ser los mejores en su categoría... etc. Presentaré los SUPERLATIVOS DEL HP RUN CLUB como mi powerpoint presentación. Todos los asistentes recibirán un certificado oficial.

5) ¡¡RIFA DE ENTRADA GRATIS para LA Marathon!! Si has estado en al menos UNA de las carreras largas de entrenamiento de LAM (ya sea el domingo o el lunes), ¡tienes la oportunidad de ganar una entrada a la competición de LAM! Si eres seleccionado pero ya te has registrado, ¡se te reembolsará el IMPORTE COMPLETO! Mientras más carreras largas hayas entrenado, mayores serán tus posibilidades de GANAR (he estado manteniendo una lista;)). El ganador DEBE estar presente en el momento del sorteo (al final de la noche) para reclamar el premio.

También contaremos con juegos de mesa, karaoke y más. ¡No querrás perdértelo! :D
